CropLife Ghana is the association of agrochemical importers and distributors in Ghana. It is currently made up of 23 major agrochemical companies and counting. CropLife Ghana controls about 90% of the fertilizer market as well as about 65% of the Crop Protection Products (CPP) market. 

Our Mission

CropLife acts as an ambassador for the plant science industry, encouraging understanding and dialogue whilst promoting sound science and agricultural technology in the context of sustainable development

CropLife Ghana member companies supply quality and approved pesticides, fertilizers and seeds whiles actively promoting the below-listed programs:

  • The Spray Service Provider (SSP) Program across the country

  • Collection of empty pesticides containers and its by-products

  • Safeguarding, collection and proper disposal of obsolete pesticides without contaminating the environment

  • Responsible use training on pesticides an fertilizer through the SSP approach to avoid accidents from usage by farmers

  • Sensitization of Border Officials on cross-border trade and anti-counterfeiting of crop protection products, and

  • Sensitization against the use of sub-standard and fake/counterfeit agrochemical products and fertilizers.

- FAO Sub-Committee on Pesticide waste
